“In the fourth, I wanted to make sure I took a good start, and I was hoping she wouldn’t have physical resources to come back in that one. The British Open final must have been playing a role tonight, I watched a video of that match and learnt a few things from it.

“I think she was pretty tired at the end, she dug in deep to get back in the third, and didn’t much left in the fourth…

“Last week’s defeat was definitely on my mind, I don’t think my length was good enough then, this time, I made sure I kept in front of her, I had a game plan, and stuck to it pretty well.

“I’ve been working with a psychologist to improve certain aspects of my game, and maybe a year ago, after losing a match ball, I may have experienced a few problems…

“First time in the semi final, delighted with that, so happy…
