‘Off to Chicago’

I’m currently sat on a plane to Chicago aka the Windy City heading for the next WSA tournament. Am really excited about going to Chicago as it will be my first time there and it’s always Interesting to see a new city.

Since winning the nationals, this last week seems to have flown by. I had premier league down in Chichester where we won 4-1. Then it was up to Manchester for a CWG doubles squad so it has been pretty busy. I’m still really excited about my nationals win and I got asked if winning my 4th title meant as much, of course it does. The nationals are one of my priorities for the year and for me to say I’m National Champion 2014 is a great feeling. It makes all the hard work worthwhile and it’s why we play, to win things and to have great memories.

On another note and something I never thought I would say, ‘’I have joined Twitter!!’’ I have never been one to really want to share my life with lots of people who i don’t really know… BUT I can see how it’s good to basically push the squash side out there for promotion, to share results and to thank sponsors. As I’m obviously into self-promotion at the moment you can follow me at @aliwat1

Ha ha!!

Back to squash, and first round in Chicago starts on Friday 28th February, I play a qualifier first round.
I’m looking forward to getting back out there and pushing on from my national’s win, to play well, play my game and most importantly enjoy it. That’s all I can ask for.  You can watch the action live on psasquashtv.com

Happy Watching

Ali xx
