women’s titles.

We all enjoyed the week and it is always nice to be away as a team and you
can’t beat playing for England.

Sarah Jane did a good initiation at the finals dinner which consisted of a Gangnam
style dance down the centre of the room ending up on stage strutting her moves.
Top marks! 

It was a big night for my premier league team Tuesday as it was the finals in
Nottingham vs Duffield. I unfortunately missed out on playing as I have been
suffering from an ear infection all week so was disappointed to not play. We
won though 3-2 so that was our 5th title and 4 in a row which i think is an
unbelievable achievement. Delighted for the team and manager Pete Smith as I
know it’s tough to organise the team throughout the year but as always he does
a fantastic job.

The British open is next in Hull and it’s the last tournament of the season
before the summer break. We start on the 21st May. Come and show your support.
It should be a great tournament.

We are number one seeds in both the Men’s and Women’s events. I’m really looking forward to the week ahead as I love the team events and playing for England. We start in a pool group of 4 teams with two matches on Wednesday and one Thursday. Our women’s team is Laura Massaro, me, Jenny Duncalf and a debut for Sarah Jane Perry. Looking forward to the initiation!!!!
 
It should be a great week and hopefully we can bring both the titles home.

and after a string of excellent results in the early rounds, both Alison and Laura
made it through.
